April 22, 2022, The 22nd Day of Puxi Lockdown.

After enduring days of food scarcity, growing anxiety about hunger, and the complexities of neighborhood tensions, a heavy sense of stress weighed on everyone.
On this day, we were granted a rare opportunity to step outside, down to the garden. The weather was perfect. Midday sunlight warmed the grass, trees, and silent playgrounds. It was a brief but meaningful moment of calm and quiet beauty amid the uncertainty.
Moved by this fragile sense of peace, I composed a series of short poems for my neighbors - expressions of shared experience, hope, and connection in the midst of hardship.
